NIVEA MEN Energy 24H Fresh Effect Shower Gel review
It’s The Grooming Hut’s first shower gel review, and not wanting to be known as a luxury or premium product review site, I’ve chosen NIVEA Men Energy 24H Fresh Effect Shower Gel.
NIVEA are a staple on the high street these days, and for good reason. You can’t go to your local Boots or Superdrug without seeing shelves bursting with everyday products like this one.
I use this particular shower gel in the gym after a workout. It’s outstanding value – this 250ml bottle cost me £1. That’s not a typo: £1.
The bottle says it’s suitable for body, face and hair. Perfect for the gym bag. Personally, I don’t want to wash my hair with the same product I wash my body with, nor my face, but if that feature alone means I can accidentally get a little bit in my eyes without feeling like I’ve been blinded, then I’m all for it.
The fragrance is lovely, the mint extract really shines through without being over powering and the gel foams up just as you’d expect. For the price, you can use as little or as much as you like to get what you need from it.
TGH TIP
Use a flannel in the shower to wash your whole body. Trust me, your partner will thank you for it…
After each shower I feel refreshed and clean with the tiniest hint of mint on my skin, albeit not lasting long. No dryness to my skin either. It’s almost impossible not to like this shower gel, it ticks all the boxes. Nice one NIVEA Men, keep up the good work.
