ManCave Micellar Cleansing Water review

So what is this Micellar cleansing water that is slowly creeping into the world of men's grooming? ManCave describe it like so:
Micellar Water gently cleanses the skin using Micellar Technology that is made up of micelles (tiny balls of cleansing oil molecules) suspended in soft water that act as a magnet to draw dirt from the skin.
It’s designed to keep you fresh whilst on the move, the refreshing mist and modern scent providing instant freshness with every pump. You don't need water and there is no need to scrub hard, but you will need some cotton wool pads.
So how does it perform? Rather well actually! I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, almost every day. It’s great when I’m in a rush or when I feel like I want to freshen up. I use two or three pumps onto a clean cotton pad and slowly wipe over my face paying particular attention to my T-zone and any areas that a prone to collecting dirt and sweat, repeating the process until the cotton pad comes away clean. No rinsing necessary and I’m straight onto the rest of my normal grooming routine. Seeing the dirt collect on the cotton pad gives me a strangely accomplished feeling that I know it’s really working. I don't get that squeaky clean feeling I would with a traditional face wash, water and rinsing but for something that takes no more than 30 seconds that you can literally do anywhere it’s hard to beat.
It is excellent value too. A bottle on the ManCave website comes in at £6.00 for 100ml. Depending on how often you use it it’ll last for months, and there are always special offers on bundles. They’ve recently launched a subscription service too where you can save 20% on a recurring purchase delivered straight to your door. So what’s the verdict? I have to say, I’m impressed. It works and works well, it’s excellent value, and can be used anywhere. Perfect for a gym bag, a work bag or your girlfriends handbag! It’s almost impossible not to recommend this product. If I’m being picky, the lack of a truly clean feeling when used is a small minus, but that is more than outweighed by the fact you can see it working with the grime that collects on the cotton pad – something you never get with a traditional face wash.
